Kaitlyn Slorey is a multimedia designer and artist born in Portland, OR and raised in the PNW. She is a graduate from WSUV’s Creative Media and Digital Culture program, also achieving a minor in Fine Arts. Throughout her experience within the program and work, she has delved into skills such as web-based coding, video and audio production, copywriting, SEO and social media marketing, 2D animation, and all things design. For 3 years she worked for an award-winning art and literary publication called the Salmon Creek Journal, as their Marketing Director for 1 year and Visual Arts Editor for 2 years. She currently works as a Social Media Specialist at a creative marketing agency called GTMA.
Her expertise in the fine arts realm include drawing, painting, and is most interested in printmaking. Outside of making and consuming art, Kaitlyn is an avid concert-goer and at times has gone to 6 shows in one month. She loves to keep herself busy with creative challenges, and is currently considering going back to grad school to achieve a Master’s in Fine Arts.
Kaitlyn is now accepting clients for art & design-related work! This includes marketing and promotional projects, commissioned art pieces, and any digital/multimedia graphic design creations.
Always having a compassion for all things unique and aesthetically pleasing, Kaitlyn’s strongest goal as an artist and designer is to make individuals look at things differently than they did before, and creatively question what they see. Digitally producing the works you will see here in her portfolio, she strives to keep things clean, simple, and visually eye-catching.
